Our Story
Two People, One Frustration
Our story is about two people who believe AI could be better. Jared Saunders, former head of AI for an international company, and Denis Gataric, who spent years working across multiple facets at the Big 4 banks, found ourselves constantly juggling between different AI tools. We'd have one app for brainstorming, another for image generation, and another for project planning.
Building for Ourselves
What at the time was a personal frustration, became a shared mission. Jared brought deep AI expertise, while Denis contributed strategic thinking through experience in navigating complex financial systems. Together, we began building AI tools for our own projects.
The Discovery
Through conversations with other creators, entrepreneurs, and professionals, we discovered we weren't alone in this struggle. People kept asking us if they could use our software that we built for ourselves. That's where we realised we had stumbled onto something bigger than our own productivity problems.

So we decided to build something for everyone. Our different backgrounds became our strength: Jared's enterprise AI experience meant we could build tools that actually scale, while Denis's financial sector expertise helped us understand what people really need from their software. As a former Head of AI Development and business owner, I've dedicated my career to advancing technological innovations while building high-performing teams. My entrepreneurial journey and hands-on experience in AI solutions have shaped my approach to leadership - pragmatic yet innovative. Beyond the code and boardroom, I'm a dedicated father of two girls who believes in the power of balance, whether that's between family and career, or between my passion for weight training and coastal living. This blend of technical expertise and life experience drives my mission at Alesko.ai: creating intelligent systems that shape the future of business.
Denis Gataric
CFO & Co-Founder
I bring a robust financial background cultivated at industry leaders like St George, Macquarie Bank (including Macquarie Wealth), and National Australia Bank. My approach to finance is much like my approach to sim racing – strategic, competitive, and always aiming for the top. I believe in maintaining a work-life balance, which for me includes staying active at the gym, savouring quality coffees, and exploring scenic mountain roads. This combination of financial expertise and drive for excellence shapes Alesko.ai's strategic vision and growth.
